Kim Richardson is a highly skilled photographer and lighting specialist known for her love of storytelling. Her work exudes a sense of wonder. With her meticulous attention to detail and ability to create captivating narratives, Kim’s imagery captures products in a vibrant and engaging way.

For nearly a decade she photographed for Sotheby’s and Phillips auction houses in New York City. When Kim moved to Santa Fe in 2007, she expanded her practice to include architecture, lifestyle and portraits.

Her background includes extensive work with luxury brands, catalogue and book projects. She has consistently delivered high-quality imagery that captures the essence of elegance and sophistication. She brings brands to life through visually compelling narratives that embody luxury, style, and artistic excellence.

Kim studied fine art and photography at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, and Parsons School of Design in Paris. She worked in collaborative projects that exhibited at Centre Pompidou in Paris and Alleged Gallery in New York City. Her fine art photographs have exhibited around the country in galleries and museums including the New Mexico Museum of Fine Art.

Kim presently lives in Santa Fe, NM with her husband, painter and educator, Willy Bo Richardson and their lovely, dynamic daughter Audrey Richardson.

In addition to her photography she also has a background in fine art printing for artists. She works with master printer, Steve Zeifman, with Rush Creek Editions.Â
