Shifting Light: Photographic Perspectives

Saturday, November 25, 2017 – Sunday, November 04, 2018

Shifting Light offers a twenty-first century perspective on the museum’s long-term engagement with the popular medium of photography.

Organized into the broad categories of place, identity, and creativity, the exhibition juxtaposes photographs in ways that amplify their meanings and suggest new narratives.

Kate Ware, the Curator of Photography, for the New Mexico Art Museum invited artists to participate for a week slot to the Museum’s Instagram page in relating to one of the broad categories, place, identity, and creativity from the Shifting Light exhibition. I was granted the week Oct 29-Nov 2, 2018 and chose the creativity category, showing photographs from my series Between You and the View.
