The Residence
The Residence at The Ridge is a sprawling territorial style hacienda with gracious shared spaces for hosting your stay in style. With two bedrooms and two suites, The House can accommodate a range of needs, while the large open plan of The Casita offers an additional bedroom and flexibility.

The Art
The artworks in the house span nearly 50 years of contemporary art and include artists who Irene worked with over the years and those who Max represented at his gallery. Some of the artists featured on the walls throughout The Ridge include: Sanford Biggers, Liz Cohen, Pablo Helguera, Leandro Katz, Guillermo Kuitca, Sol LeWitt, Glenn Ligon, Iรฑigo Manglano-Ovalle, Kent Monkman, Patrick Nagatani, Kelly Nipper, Judy Pfaff, Alexis Rockman, Cara Romero, David Taylor, Hank Willis Thomas, Zoe Urness, and Siebren Versteeg among many others.

The Landscape
Situated on ten acres of mature Piรฑon Pines, Junipers, and flowering Yuccas, the property offers an authentic mountain desert experience. The land is home to dozens of native birds and attracts the likes of foxes, deer, coyotes, and the occasional road runner.

The Neighborhood
The Ridge is located down an unpaved rural road in a quiet neighborhood at the base of the Santa Fe foothills. Here you’ll find serenity and privacy along with great views into the Galisteo Basin and the sounds of nature in the high desert.

A stay at The Ridge supports the activities of Desert Sabbatical, a unique program of retreats and gatherings that support the contemporary art world’s leaders, writers, curators and artists. Learn more about their mission and vision.
